Mental Techniques for Combos
How to become a better combo kicker and punter. Kickers need to be small, compact, powerful, flexed out, and wound up tight. Punters on the other hand need to be relaxed, compact, and fluid. The only way to get used to switching back and forth as you will in a football game, is by practicing switching back and forth in the off-season and at practice. The easiest way to get prepared is by listening to music accordingly in pregame and before practice. More upbeat music will allow those muscles to relax and allow you to be more fluid out on the field.
