How to Kick A Football with more distance, hang time, and lift.

When we get the questions, "How do I kick more power in my kick?" or "How do I get my lift or hang time better on my kicks?" the first place we look is that contact point. However, sometimes the kicker is hitting the perfect spot on the ball but not getting the results they expect.

"It's about more than just hitting the sweet spot"

In order to get the lift and power that you want as a kicker, it takes more that just hitting the sweet spot. It's about directing that force to compress the ball into itself making the ball do the work. Follow through is key in this, as well as the Direction of your leg swing. You absolutely need to hit your wide plant, never crunch, and follow through straight up to your face.
